I received a Yamaha MO8 keyboard for my high school graduation last year. I loved the keyboard so much… but it was missing something.A musical mentor of mine told me something that stuck with me several years ago, “A product is only as good as the case you keep it in.” So when I decided I had to get a case for my new Yamaha… I knew I needed something good, something strong, something I could trust.I needed a GATOR! I made my way to the local music store close to closing time. I asked the clerk if they had any GATOR cases. He brought out 2 that would fit… One an ATA and one Polyurethane. But then he looked at me and said, “But I do have one in the back that may be more in your budget…” He left but soon came back with another polyurethane case exactly like the first. He said, “This one is used and it’s half price.” I leapt in the air with joy and was soon on my way out with a new badass GATOR case. Over the next several months my band played many shows in the Louisiana area… but no matter what my GATOR kept going. Through drops down stairs, falling off trailers, stepped on at shows, and spilled on at bars… my GATOR kept my keyboard unscathed. Everywhere I go my GATOR and keyboard come as well. When I moved to Baton Rouge I locked it and checked it as cargo on my flight (and we all know how terribly the airport workers treat luggage). My bag came back busted, but my GATOR… not a scratch! It’s been over a year now since I got my GATOR… USED mind you. So no telling what it had been through before it fell into my hands. But no matter the situation, no matter the abuse… my GATOR is always loyal. And heaven forbid it ever wear out on me… I know my next case will be one more chapter in my GATOR story.
