I picked up my dream guitar finally & it came new in the box (Mockingbird Neckthru w/Floyd). But I had no case to rest my baby in when I’m not playing it… so the search began. Little did I know I would go through literally hundreds & hundreds of cases ranging from Google searches to CLto Ebay & reading review after review trying to find exactly what I wanted. I almost bought an ATA Flight case for the protection but soon realized it would be extremely impractical for local jams & band practices because they weigh so much. Yet a standard typical HDSC wasn’t good enough for my pride & joy. I needed a really good case, well constructed, very sturdy, yet looked cooland at the same time knowing my baby will rest snuggly inside. Mockingbirds are a tough order to fill when it comes to cases due to the shape. The name GATOR kept coming up in many many reviews & ads & articles & I knew they were a very likely candidate in what I was looking for. So I continued looking through more & more cases for just the exact one I wanted & I kept coming back to the name Gator because they had cases that were very well built, not heavy, looked cool & that’s what I needed. So I got the GC Bass case (for my 6 string mockingbird)for extra room & a guaranteed fit. When it arrived, I was blown away at the quality & sheer coolness of the case. I bought a Gator case for way less than what I thought I’d get a good case for & was Impressed with itso much that I will recommend Gator cases to anyone that needs a guitar case for “their” baby.I’ve seen what’s out there. You won’t get a better guitar case for the money. You can try but if you want the best you can get within your budget get a Gator & that’s all I can say.
