I live in the Midwest, in the Winter we constantly have blizzard like conditions. I work as a Sound engineer for a local concert touring company, I keep a rack of my personal effects/compressors in a Gator G-TOUR SHK4 (4 space shock rack). When we got to the venue and started to load in, it was already snowing heavily. There was at least 8 inches on the ground. When unloading the cases, my Gator rack was on top of another road case. When the stagehands were pulling the road case out my rack fell off and down 6 ft from the dock to the foot of snow on the ground, I quickly jumped down to rescue my gear, half the case was covered in snow, I quickly got inside, opened the rack up and noticed that everything was bone dry and that no water had gotten pass the seal (which I didn’t even realize was there!). Everything powered on fine and was in working order. The delay unit in my rack went on to feed the delay fills in the venue, great night! All because of my trusty Gator shock rack!! Thanks for making such great cases!
